The Rush Ranch Nature Center is an educational and research facility that promotes the preservation of natural wetlands. This 66,000 square-foot facility encompasses a multi-purpose learning center, research laboratory, offices, temporary living quarters, and a caretakers residence.
Sustainable design principles were incorporated into the project by using environmentally friendly green materials, passive solar space heating, photo-voltage electrical system, wind energy, and a gray water disposal system.
